They can apparently ban you from Xbox Live or Bing or whatever else (since they run the services), but it turns out the alarmed panic about them 'remotely disabling pirate games on your hard drive' is complete bunk.
Of course, what else would they think. What do you think if they did. Sometimes it's crap, but I don't care. however I do care if I get affected by them.
So is it A good think that they can't do it to Windows 10? well who says who, It's messed up
I don't mind either way, I don't have any form of pirated software or games. However, I have heard from a friend that Windows 10 wasn't letting him launch a pirated game due to it having a missing/incorrect certificate.
They might not be able to "block" your pirated games, but they can make it really difficult to run them by making them incompatible and making it hard for the cracking teams to continue their work and provide cracks for the latest games. Windows 10 is a big problem in terms of privacy and piracy.
