No New N' Tasty Thread?

C'mon, I can't be the only one looking forward to the new Abe's Oddysey HD remake.

It looks really good. They seem to be preserving what made the series great while adapting it to a modern audience. It looks like it's going be be plenty difficult, just like its predecessor, and the efforts made to appeal to a wider audience seem to mostly just be improvements to the checkpoint system and, possibly, the addition of the quicksave feature from Exoddus. I think 2.5D sidescrollers haven't gotten enough attention, they have real potential. Anyway, I love the atmosphere. They've kept quite a bit going forward, I think. The environments and color scheme are almost identical to the first one. The gameplay looks like it's just as good, if not better. And, of course, the writing and voice acting are just as quirky and lovable. I'm super excited for this game.

I've never really played an Oddworld game, but New N' Tasty looks like a fun, well designed platformer. I'm definitely thinking about picking it up, thought to be quite honest, the fact that the price is at 30$ is kind of deterring me from getting in on day one.

OMG I totally forgot about this. Yes, I can not friggin WAIT for this. I'm so HYPED its CRAZY. I played the original games so much that they wouldn't run anymore.

You don't know what you've missed. It was one of the greatest side-scrollers ever made. As far as the price is concerned, consider the following: it's half the price of a AAA game and, in all likelihood, twice as good.

Well, now that I think about it, there's basically zero chance that they won't make one.
