E3 No Tomb Raider game at E3 this year

The next Tomb Raider game, which is likely to be called Shadow of The Tomb Raider due to a previous leak, will not be making an appearance at E3 this year. Tomb Raider's Senior Community Manager said in an interview:

"This will be a quiet E3 for Lara, but we’re looking forward to catching up on her new adventure later this year."

So we can possibly expect something later in the year perhaps at Gamescom.

It's a new studio working on the game this time too, well, the guys who previously did the ports of the game to PS4 and PC I think. It should be interesting to see how they fair with it. The previous developers are busy on the Marvel game that they got the rights for. Hopefully the Tomb Raider games continue well under the new developers because the last two have been great.

lets hope it goes better than what happened to the Batman Arkham series. A different company handled the game and where it was like the others, but oh so full of glitches.

The company handling the title this time have experience porting the Tomb Raider games and been involved in the project for quite some time so it should work out well.
