Yes, Nokia is still around. Nokia's phone brand name is now owned by HMD which is a company from Finland according to HMD Global launches first Nokia smartphone
Seems Nokia is refocusing from trying to compete with the likes of Samsung, HTC and Apple, to trying to make a range of competitive lower/mid-tier smartphones instead. Seems like a good strategy. Nokia is still a great brand which gives encouragement of quality to users who used to own one of their phones before smartphones existed. Hopefully they find success in this market.
