This is a comparison betwen the American and the Japanese NSMB2 cover.

Why must the American versions always have to suck?

Look at the inside part of the cover, that is one amazing art. I wouldn't mind turning the cover around and display that one instead.

I find the inside's of 3DS game covers really detailed and nicely done, same goes for KI:U and 3D Land.

Japan gets all the cool official soundtracks, too. The Super Mario Galaxy 2 Official Soundtrack still isn't technically available in anywhere but Japan, unless, you know... it's on the internet if you search long enough.

I'm quite positive I got the image on the back of my cover. I remember having little bits cut out and several character's heads popping through like they where windows and I bent the box in such a way I could see the image. I thought it was really cool.

This is how it looks on the inside:

Also how cool is that yellow case?

damn you American version and your lazy design.

Noticing the yellow case get mentioned, I took a quick look at mine, and sure enough, I've got the same one as Japan. So America must've missed out on this. Wonder why? Only thing I can actually think of is it was the pre-order edition, but I really doubt that.

Nintendo of America doesn't eat at McDonald's, they eat at BurgerKing, get your facts straight.
