I prefer ATI video cards since it used to be Canadian owned till AMD bought it. Plus, their cards have good performance, and are fairly price.

The $100-200 Video cards are pretty good for gaming, too.

Same for me, but I screwed by intel a few times when there are games that don't work well on Intel GPUs.

I plan on getting a ATI or Nvidia card when I got the cash.

I wanted a ATI but it was PRETTY expensive. so I went for a Nvidia.

I find 3rd party ATI card makers like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Sapphire, etc are cheaper then the ATI cards made by ATI.

Depends on who holds the crown on the market. Sometimes ATI holds better cards and sometimes NVIDIA holds better card. In a few years Intel will be on the market as well with its cards. Unfortunately for Intel Larrabee is under performing as a consumer product so it will only be server side card. Likely its 2nd or 3rd generation card might make it to consumers though.

Definitely nVidia.

I have an nVidia GeForce 7100 with 2GB graphics memory. ;)

It plays blu ray beautifully !!

Though I'm going to be getting an nVidia GTX graphics card soon. ;)

That's actually good question. I own ATI Radeon HD5450 512mb, and It is quite good. But, for gaming I would rather choose nVidia, as they are better for gaming. And Ati is for video editing etc. :)
