Microsoft announced this new program today which will come out with windows 8. The software includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and OneNote, will include a number of new features including a complete touch interface, a Metro-style user interface, and better collaboration tools utilizing social networking and cloud services like SkyDrive.

So what do you think? I hear you can download it from the MS site and try it out. As a college student learning office type programs, this is either a good or bad time for this to come out.

I think bundling Office with Windows is good for most computer owners who use Windows since almost everyone needs to use a Word Processor like Word to write a letter, essay, and Resume in some point in their lives.

One complaint a lot of computer users like students have that Windows does not come with Office, and they have to pay more money to use Windows. I think since Windows 8 comes preinstalled on most store bought computer then the price will be more affordable then buying Windows, Office, and a computer separately since Bundles are usually cheaper.

The user also save some time by not having to install Office from a CD if it comes preinstalled when you buy a new Windows 8 PC.

My Vista computer came with Office Works http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Works which is like MS Office 2003, but it was a lot more limited, and came with less templates, and features. I think the spell checker was not as good as the full version.

Although, MS Works was better then WordPad, and Notepad which also comes bundle with Windows, but have no spell check, and more advance features.

I like the new look of Word Office 2013 since it is simple, clean, and well organize with the ribbon/tabs, so a newbie office 2013 users can more easily find features by reading the tabs on the top of the ribbon toolbar instead of using the file menu bar with a lot of sub-menus like Office 2003 which can be difficult to find stuff.
