So, since I perceive that there will be several details leaked in the lead up to the new games, I should just make one big thread for them to go in to avoid clutter. From now on, all my news will be posted here. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you don't want to know what will happen, then don't look!

Your starter Pokemon will be given to you by Bianca as a favor to Juniper since she is still her assistant.

Alder will appear early in the game.

Cheren is the Normal Type Gym Leader.

N is STILL missing. This is SOOO annoying because many fans wanted his story continued (but maybe it will...)

Professor Burnett (new prof) will be in the AR Searcher as well.

Genie Trio first formes are Incarnation Formes, while the new formes are Sacred Beast Formes. These new formes come with stat bonuses: Thundurus gets boosted Sp Atk; Tornadus gets Def, Sp Def and Speed; Landorus gets Atk. No idea why Tornadus gets so much better off then the others.

PokeWood is the Hollywood equivalent and will let you make movies/have battles. Brycen will be part of it.

Pokemon World Tournament is a function that will let you battle old Gym Leaders and Champions including Misty, Brock, Lance (listed as a champion), Giovanni (listed as a gym leader AND Team Rocket boss, meaning other team bosses might appear in the World Tournament), Blue, Steven, Janine, Blaine, Erica, Volkner, Cynthia and others not yet determined.

Nothing to indicate Team Rocket so far, so Giovanni might just be included in the Pokemon World Tournament, as I first concluded.

Wow. We can battle ALL gym leaders from previous regions? AWESOME! When did Gear level grinding become such fun?

Not all. Just certain ones have been announced. And you probably won't be able to gain levels from it, but maybe BP. Nothing big in there is a spoiler yet, but I feel like I should put the spoiler tag on it just in case something comes up later or in case people just don't want to know until the games come out.

I went from a 3 (initial announcement that it would be for the DS ...I was pretty upset) and now I am a 10 haha

not all some ...but I really think this is tying into the whole rocket Giovanni being there....also MAYBE a hint of a R/S remake (Steve Stone is there)

Not really any indication of a R/S remake at all. Steven has been brought back before in HG to give you a starter Pokemon.

And Giovanni being here DOES NOT mean Team Rocket is back. I don't know why people keep talking about that... I would MUCH rather they bring back Silver for a confrontation between Silver and his father, Giovanni...

MOAR spoilers for you! Here is a video showing some of the gameplay footage. I don't know why things like this are okay, but showing the trailers is not allowed...

From this we see that all Pokemon now have different animation then they did in BW. Also, according to what they said, every trainer in the game will also have movement animation (not just event battlers). Watching Oshawott juggling its shell makes me want to pick it again! From what we know of the gyms, that might not be too bad a choice either!

2:08, is that a badge for each pokemon?
Also shows how those battles with trainers from earlier generations work..
It also seems they fixed the issue with the pixels on the 3DS.
