Official Raspberry Pi touchscreen will let you build your own tablet

There’s an official Raspberry Pi touchscreen accessory coming, and it’ll be on sale before the end of this year or early next year.

Soon, however, you’ll be able to purchase a 7-inch touchscreen to plug in to your own Raspberry Pi. The display kit will include both the touchscreen and an interface board, which will allow you to stack the three components together and easily make your own Pi tablet.
