I like the look of the YouTube App for iPhone. It seems to run pretty smooth.
Yes, but the same could be said for the Xbox 360, PS3, and other official YouTube Apps for different devices.
I think the non-official app for YouTube was made by Apple, but the license expired, so Google now has the rights to make the official YouTube App because Apple discontinue their un-official YouTube app after the license expired.
