While digging around in a pile of video game stuff I found an Atari Console (dunno what it's called…) back from when my dad was a kid. Well out of curiosity what's the oldest video game home console/handheld YOU own?

NES. It's right down there. It's not plugged in. My dad must have unplugged it...

Game Boy

I collect old consoles. The oldest one I have is the Magnavox Odyssey 400. It's from 1972, I think... I dunno, the date is stamped on the bottom of the system.

Nintendo 64. And I made it perfectly clear that if it's no longer wanted I'll take it. We USED to have a SNES, but don't have it anymore. Chances are if we did we wouldn't get it out anyway.

As of right now with me moving out I had to let go of all my un-used consoles

but the oldest one I had that I used was the Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Magnavox Oddysey 2, Coleco Pac-Man mini Arcade (AWESOME!), NES, SNES, N64, GCN, GB, GBP, GBC, VB, GBA, GBA SP. Micro GBA. May have forgoten one or two.

I can proudly say that I am proud to be a gamer. ^_^

Also this is one AWESOME mini arcade:

The mini arcade is cool, but there's a video game store just one town over and it has old systems and old games. You can buy the original Donkey Kong arcade machine for $800. I kind of want to save up for it, but it's not mini, it's actual size so I have no place to put it.

This made me drool... Just kidding, but seriously.

You know, the history of video gaming dates back to the 1940s? The cathode ray tube amusement device is the very first interactive electronic game, and I didn't know about it until last month.

I have an Intellivision 2, and all the games, sadly my new TV won't interact with it and the RF modulator switch box in corroded, its a seprate piece, need to find a new one. I also have an original Merlin that still works. I also have some of Nintendo's game and watch games that also work, along with an Epoch Man and a 2XL with the 8 track tapes that worked as the "programs".

SNES. Or was it given to my grandmother? Can't remember.

The oldest console I currently have the ability to physically touch? I might have a Game Boy Color (1998) somewhere.

Otherwise, the oldest console I have that is fully functional, is the Wii (lol).

My Game Boy Color has no batteries, and no battery colour, and has a very sticky 'A' button.

My Game Boy Advance SP freezes a lot.
