Looks like a pretty durable tablet for people in developing countries. I like the hardware, and charging crank for this Tablet. It would be cool if the solar panel, and hand crank was built-in to the side and back of the tablet, so they are less likely to get lost. But, I guest making them separate means you can use one crank and lid with multiple tablets.
I predict in a few years Hasbro, Fisher Price, and Vtech which make toys for kids will come out with similar priced Tablets for toddlers, and kids if this OLPC XO 3.0 Tablet becomes a success around the world.
