and I'm going to be very mad if ANYONE suggests anything about.... a game.

Before you do that, I'd like to explain....

This is an ESS WHY ESS TEE EE EMM update. S-Y-S-T-E-M update. Firmware update... for the firmware... the 3DS system.

There is NO "Update" that fixes the glitches in Mario Kart. That is a "patch". Not a "firmware update". It's available on the eShop, when it comes out, most likely this week, or next week.

So don't go all like "OMG I wonder if this is the one that..."

Thanks for the warning TUK. *Updates 3DS* I like it when you make topics about the 3DS system updates, because when you do I download them as soon as possible rather then checking maybe once every two months for one.

Apparently, you can do a system update without a pin, if you have parental controls set on it....

So, in otherwords, a pretty pointless one, but ... it's probably got the usual inside bug fixes and small things like that.... not that there are any bugs.... yet.

The system update and the Mario Kart 7 patch were released at the same time, I think. That's how it was for me, at least.

Quite right. The Mario Kart 7 update is now available, I'm downloading it myself right now. Remember to go to eShop and download it though.
