To celebrate, Toonami just finished Cosmo Samurai 2 and starting this Saturday, a new TIE event will air bringing about a returning change:

Feel free to browse the Toonami Subreddit, where a ton of history is being discussed.

So who here is a Toonami fan? Did you grow up during its golden age? Any favorite inspirational videos like this:

I remember watching Toonami all the time as a kid. I'd come home from school and watch Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon. I also remember watching Hamtaro. Those are like the three core shows I remember watching, but I'm sure I watched other stuff I can't remember.

I also remember they did a lot of skits and things as well with Tom, the host. The thing I remember vividly is daily series where Tom's ship was attacked and the details are a little fuzzy, but I think there was some liquid or space goop and Tom like actually died. That traumatized me because they ended that with the cliffhanger of this dude I watched everyday just dying. Then he was replaced with Tom 2. Man I miss those days.

That was TIE event one, which they did do a follow up on:

I remember hearing about the follow up, but I didn't get to see that. I put it in my watch later on YouTube so I can watch it when I get a little more time.
