On vacation....?

What games do you normally play when you're on vacation? Do you have certain games that you play when you are on vacation and have more time to play? Or do you try to catch up on your gaming when on vacation?
 
Just whatever I'm playing, though I think when I get the next Zelda BotW 2 game, I'm going to take a week off to grind into that.
 
I've just continued with ones I'm already doing. If a new one catches my eye, I may try it out. Otherwise, I prefer to just stick with the one game & see if I can finish it.
 
I had hoped that I would be getting Hogwarts Legacy for Christmas but they delayed it yet again. It won't come out till February and I'll have used all my vacation by then. However, my year starts in March because that's when my anniversary date is. So, you year will roll over and I'll get all my vacation back in March (I get 3 weeks of vacation a year). Unfortunately, they only let you take a week at a time.....they don't normally let you take longer than that unless it's special circumstances.

Maybe plan the vacation more towards May/June, give the game makers times to iron out any bugs in the game so when you take your vacation its a more smooth game experince.

I tend to take my vacations towards the later half of my year at work. I normally take one in September, another one around Halloween and the third week in January. I'm sure I'll have the game by the time I take any of that vacation time. Surely they'll have the bugs ironed out by then.

I'll probably get the game for my birthday, which is in July, if I don't already have it by then. I'll be able to play some on my days off and what not but I'll really be able to devote some time to it when I'm on vacation.
 
Usually i try to play something more relaxing and try to avoid anything that is remotly frustrating as you know you are on vacation afterall. Summer is usually the time i play life simulation games ala story of seasons, rune factory and offcourse it's always a perfect time to catch with the lastest pokemon game.
 
I think I'm going to go back to playing Luigi's Mansion 3 on my Switch. We are in fall now and Halloween will be here before you know it. Plus, I'll be on vacation when Halloween rolls around so maybe I can really play it while I'm on vacation.
 
I pretty much play everything
 
If I am at home or know someone that wants to play something when I am traveling somewhere maybe, however on the road I like reading instead.
