Anyone watch this guy? He goes around and samples cheese pizza from Pizza places all over the USA and rates them.
 
No, this dude is a tool on social media. There was an episode of this where he kept saying how much this one owner's pizza sucked out in front of his store, the owner told him to get away from the store as it would turn away customers and the guy got pissed about it.
 
I love watching Dave and his reviews. He has an obvious bias for coal oven cooked thin crust pizzas. He has also done quite alot of small pizza restaurant owners all over the states.

If this is the recent viral video that you are talking about, you have it wrong.

He was doing a normal review and was actually done rating already(6.8 if I recall correctly). The owner then came out and told him to piss off and that he hurts small business owners. Dave took that personally as he has actually helped numerous small businesses especially during the pandemic. He even recently did a huge pizza testing convention of sorts which has further help boost these local pizza places.

They then got into a bitching match and it was hilarious.
 
Sounds like a novel idea. But most of the time they are ignored in my family. Maybe I'll get lucky to have a non-corporate or chain pizza in the summer, but rarely at gatherings do I ever eat more than one type of store or gas station pizza, and oftentimes I forget about if it was good or not because it wasn't really good or bad. I had one occasion where I thought the pizza was really good, and it was in Copper Country. Even though it feels like a pilgrimage to the UP of MI, since I never went a year of my life, it wasn't on my parents' minds to go there. And since one time, I still never had anything like it or since of that same place.

There is some good gas station pizza out there, we have a chain in my area called Casey's and damn if they aren't the best.
 
I haven't watched "One Bite Pizza" before. I check out the channel. I like that he reviews smaller Pizza restaurants around America, and his positive attitude in his Pizza revew video.
 
It's amazing how people can get paid for doing reviews such as this! Get popular enough, & you'll get sponsors.
