When buying a game, do you prefer to have it all on one disk or many disks? Not many games are on many discs now and days (the most recent one is FF 13 for xbox).

I would prefer to have my game on many disks so when I have to change disks I know I am making progress and have some idea how far I am from the ending.

Having it on many disks has its benifit. Forexample, you can lend disk 1 to a friend since you finished it, and you can play disk 2.

When you are done disk 2, you can give disk 2 to your friend, and replay disk 1 if you like.

Also, if your disk 1 got damage, and you finished it. You can still play disk 2 if you have a save point on disk 1.

It depends. If it's two game (like the God of War: Collection), then I prefer it on two. If it is one game (like Final Fantasy XIII), I prefer it on one.

I don't really mine either way, though I can sometimes misplace discs if there's a lot. FF8 has 4 discs I think and I only know where one of them is XD

I think if the quality is amazing if it is on many disk then I prefer many disks since the maker does not have to compress the video and audio to make it all fit on one disk since Dual-layer DVD only have a limit of about 9 GB.
