Is anyone else following this series by ONE/Murata?  I have to say, it's probably my favorite in recent memory (minus the sporadic release schedule).

ONE's original comic may be lacking in the art, but the story is hilarious and wonderful, which is really augmented by Murata's godly art in the redraws.

I know it's getting an anime by Madhouse, so I can't wait to see all of it come to life even more.

I haven't really read the manga but the hype for the anime is real. It certainly made me interested to try it out at least, but maybe I should wait for the anime.... Hmmmmm.

I'm conflicted.

I will say that Murata's redraws are a great way to get into the series.  However, since the anime is coming up pretty soon, I would watch it first, and then read the redraws once the anime is finished.  After you catch up with the redraws, you can look at ONE's original web comic for the story and read Murata's redraws as he releases them.

If so, that's news to me. That's incredible to know to be honest. From a webcomic to an official anime animated by a great reputable studio...
