I'm moving houses soon and unfortunately won't have internet access for a while. Normally this would be annoying but bearable. Until I found out a few of my games won't work because they require online connections. Can't even drive a car on The Crew 2 because it's online-only. Anyone else annoyed by games doing this?

I find online only games annoying if it is one of my favorite games which I plan to play for most of the week.
I feel online only games can be a problem for gamers who have a slow and unreliable internet connection, or slower computer where a PC game may slows down a game when it checks if you are online every few minutes.
There are stories like Denuvo Really Does Cripple PC Gaming Performance - ExtremeTech which claim the anti-piracy DRM can slow down gaming PCs.
Online streaming games which are fully online are good for people with a fast internet connection, but only own a slower computer or smartphone. Streaming games are not a good way to play games if your internet connection is slower, and unreliable.

True. I guess it's time for me to go on a bit of a run and try to 100% Red Dead Redemption 2 in the couple of days I don't have internetNot really (for me). It's a chance to do the offline backlogs

I avoid these games quite a bit.
I don't have a high-speed internet connectivity all the time and I don't trust my network all that much.
So, I try to go with installed game and avoid only online games.

It's the future we accepted upon allowing these online only games. Just be sure to have some offline games.

I've never played online so it wouldn't be a problem, gaming wise, for me.
Nah, my PC is on-line 24/7 so it's fine. lol

Wow. I couldn't imagine ever not playing online. I don't mind playing single player stories from time to time but I need some online multiplayer otherwise everything gets boring.
