People with a physical keyboard on their device like a PC/Laptop, smartphone/tablet with a built-in keyboard or external USB/Bluetooth keyboard maybe more likely to use online video websites rather than the online video apps which may only have the bare-minimum basic features like a video player, search, and subscription section. The comment section on video apps is sometimes not as good as the website version of the comments.

A physical keyboard makes it easier for people to type text into the search box, and click links
on the site if you know how to use the keyboard to move the cursor to links, or have a separate mouse, touchpad, or stylus pen.

Plus, you can have other browser tabs or windows open on the same device if there is no limit on how many windows can be open at the same time in one monitor sort of like Windows 10, Ubuntu, Chrome OS, and rooted/jailbroken mobile devices where it is possible to have two or more online video windows open at the same time depending on how fast your CPU, video chip, and RAM is.

I think the websites for most online video websites like YouTube, Dailymotion, and Vimeo is better than the App version because the website have more features, and web browser sometimes does not crash or freeze as often.

I also don't like the touch motion gestures on some apps like YouTube, Instagram, and other apps with sliding touch gesture functions.

Physical Keyboard and mouse for life for me as well.

One of the good things about keyboards, and mouse is that you can use them when you wear gloves like when you are outside on a cold winter's day, or the doctor's office where wearing gloves give you some protection you from germs from the magazines in the waiting room, doorknobs and seat handle bars which sick people touched. .

Most modern capacitive touchscreens require you to use your bare hands, or a battery powered stylus pen if you wear gloves. There are resistive touchscreens, but they are less accurate, and sometimes require users to use a hard plastic pen which may scratch the screen over time.

Your screen on your phone or laptop also does not get as dirty from fingerprints, dirt, food, liquid, and dust from your hand. The food, dirt, and liquids from your hand may eventually damage your device as well if it slides into holes like the speaker grill, and SD card slot.
