100,000,000 users world wide, or roughly 1,5% of the population on Earth, now has Opera installed on a mobile phone! The result? More than 52 Billion pages served every month. That's more data generated than any first edition book ever published.

This is an amazing milestone for Opera. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our users and especially our community for all your help getting us there. To celebrate we would like to share some great news with you about the upcoming releases for Opera Mini and Opera Mobile.

First all versions of Opera Mini and Opera Mobile will receive updates in 2011. It doesn't matter if you use Opera Mini 4.2 or the latest Opera Mobile for Android, you can all look forward to upcoming releases. Opera Mini and Opera Mobile will also appear on new products like the popular iPad and a wide array of tablets. These new releases will be previewed at the Mobile World Congress, and with your help released with a bang shortly after!

Congrats, Opera makes a great mobile web browser. I use Opera Mini most of the time when I need to browse the web on my eReader Tablet.

The speed of Opera Desktop Web browser is pretty good for me. It is almost or sometimes faster then Google Chrome in my experience, and a lot faster then Firefox and Internet Explorer when browsing regular text and picture based sites, but Google Chrome seems to work better with Flash websites like YouUbe, and flash games.

Not really, I use Opera for a few hours, and it still works fine for me, and my PC only has 1GB of RAM which is not a lot compared to newer PCs with 3GB-16GB of RAM.

Opera desktop browser has improved a lot over the last few years.
