Original ThunderCats Coming to HBO Max

HBO Max has announced that the classic version, from the 80s, of the animation “ThunderCats” will enter the catalog of the streaming on June 11th.

Created by Tobin “Ted” Wolfin 1985, the series became a pop culture landmark and won other versions over the decades.

The series contains 130 episodes and was originally broadcast from January 23, 1985 to 1990.

I grew up with the original ThunderCats. & yes, some of the older cartoons are considered quite corny nowadays, with the graphics & special effects, but they didn't have a hidden agenda & was just fun to watch.

Same! The last reboot wasn't bad but failed to meet a lot on what made the old one so loveable.

I grew up with the original ThunderCats. & yes, some of the older cartoons are considered quite corny nowadays, with the graphics & special effects, but they didn't have a hidden agenda & was just fun to watch.

The cartoon is a bit dated but some stuff still stands up pretty well.

and the whole Cheetara/Tygra thing was just meh in the last reboot. Cheetara should furry PLOT Lion-O and not Tygra.

Dan Norton and Michael Jelenic were the main problems for me with the last reboot those 2 were hellbent on torturing Lion-O, and they both shiped Tygra and Cheetara like crazy, I mean okay if those 2 wanted to have Cheetara/Tygra then why the heck they had to make Cheetara playing around with Lion-O too and broke his heart TCATS is not a soap opera lol, ruining Cheetara's characterization too in the process. Then they did the same with Pumyra, making Pumyra a "crazy villain", meh too many meh stuff for me. and Jelenic also the one who created the meh teen titans go.

If there will be another new TCATS reboot, wonder if they going to do this scene with Cheetara's "frontal" PLOT lol from the original
