Ouya, which has a dedicated following of core gaming enthusiasts, wants the rest of us to get involved, too. To that end, the company is introducing a new program designed to give unfettered access to their entire catalog of games. there are restrictions, but it promises to entice a lot of users to think again about Ouya should it get past the beta stage.

Dubbed the All-Access Pass, Ouya’s program gives gamers access to their entire library of games for $59.99. The pass is good for 12 months, and doesn’t automatically re-bill. Sent in the form of an activation code, once it’s redeemed, available paid content will list for $0.

I hope there would be a monthly, or even daily to weekly plan for $5 or less a month for gamers who can't afford the $60 per year cost of the all access pass.

Man, I will be 100% honest here I am getting sick and tired of all these subscriptions. I have a subscription to PSN, I have a subscription to Xbox Live, I have a subscription to multiple games, I have a subscription for my antivirus for my computer, I have multiple subscriptions for scripts to my website. The last thing I want is another subscription, its sad that people are getting so greedy and want a subscription for everything!

Ouya subscription gives subscribers access to hundreds of paid games for $60 a year like Netflix where you pay $10 a month for hundreds of TV shows and movies, so it is different from Xbox Live Gold, and PSN+ where they only give away a few games a month if they want to. Online multiplayer is still free on the Ouya for games with free online multiplayer.
