Pacific Rim: The Black is set in-between the events of the first Pacific Rim film and its sequel, Pacific Rim: Uprising. The series follows a pair of siblings as they discover an abandoned Jaeger and defend Australia from a series of Kaiju attacks.
Pacific Rim: The Black had been in development since 2018, with Legendary Entertainment producing the series. Polygon Pictures, the animation studio behind several Netflix anime projects including a trilogy of Godzilla films, will provide animation for Pacific Rim: The Black. Greg Johnson and Craig Kyle, who have written for several X-Men animated series including X-Men: Evolution, serve as head writers.

I saw it it's pretty good, and The "sisters" thing. And the Villain is quite good, Like it. and Mei the assassin is quite the waifu lol.
looking forward to season 2. The Anime story makes it way more interesting than the pacific rim movies. Also MC, Taylor is quite cool with his ability to solo drift and control the mecha alone. and I wonder where will the ship hint thing between Mei and Mc is going in season 2 lol

P5 Futaba's VA, Erica Lindbeck as Mc's Mecha AI is great too in the anime.

oh nice, she broke into the industry I believe with her Futaba job.
Indeed. and The AI is quite "feisty" lol though MC needs a Bro in the group, because right now he is running around with 3 females lol, waifu Mei, his female Mecha's AI and his sister. Mc is the only male in the group lol though there's a shota boy called "boy" in the group but I don't consider him as MC's real male bro lol.

Read some stuff on season 2:

As for official word on Season 2, Netflix reportedly ordered two seasons of Pacific Rim: The Black back in 2019. Sites including ScreenRant and IGN have reported that a second season of the anime spinoff is coming. According to IGN, Legendary Entertainment's Elie Dekel confirmed the two-season order at Project Anime, telling the audience, “[This is] one of the biggest budget anime series I’ve had the pleasure of working on, and I think that speaks to the commitment of Netflix and Legendary [to anime].” That said, a release date will likely be a ways away, given the production required on animated projects.

shse calling someone stuipd despite being in love with them?
she never calls Mc stupid, she has a memory issue, being brainwashed and doesn't want to reveal her tragic past to others but got no choice but to reveal it to mc or otherwise they cannot control the ("futaba" lol) mecha.
