I got a bit of a problem with my main PC desktop, this morning after I started it up, the PC kept freezing on me forcing me to shut it off with the power button. I started it in safe mode and did a run with my malware and anti virus checker but nothing came up.

So I started the PC normally and it still freezes on me. Anyone know what could be up?

Alright I went to safe mode again and tried to use spy sweeper, but that showed nothing. So I tried tune up utilities but I can't run it in safe mode. I then used winpartol and looked at my programs and I found two google update programs that seem to be running. I disabled them along with my spy sweeper (that program hasn't done anything in the past year) and rebooted my PC and did a tune up utilities check and it fixed some stuff.

Problem seems to be fixed for now but not sure what caused it.

I once had a bad hard drive port inside my computer which made my computer freeze, but I fixed it by plugging my hard drive into another hard drive port on the big motherboard circuit board inside my compuer.

It could be bad RAM, a failing hard drive, and other parts which might be failing inside your PC.

Could very well be a failing hard drive. Let us know if you experience anything else different from what you just have. Failing hard drives can cause a number of different issues.

I hope is everything okay or fine now?

Wouldn't it have froze up even in safe mode?

It did froze up in safe mode and regular mode at random times when it is plugged into the broken hard drive plug inside my computer. Electronics seem not to be made to last these days, and fail after a few years of use.

It is hard to say since some people are unlucky in getting bad parts which break quicker then other parts inside a PC, and their power supply, hard drive, RAM, and other parts inside a computer or electronics fail suddenly in a few months, before 1-3 years because the factory worker was careless when building a computer part, or the maker designed a part which was not made to last, but to be cheap to lower the price tag to sell without losing money.

I know someone who bought one of the most expensive Dell laptop from Dell's XPS gaming series, and it was breaken after a month or so.

I also read a few post on other forums of members computer breaking after a few years or months.

Power surges, blackouts, static electricity, moisture/water in the air, salty air if you live by the ocean which has salt in it, rust, cigarette/cigar smoke, heat, and a bunch of other things can make the wires, chips, capacitors, and all those tiny parts inside a computer, and it's parts fail.

I read a lot of reviews on Amazon, Newegg, and TigerDirect on people buying new brand name hard drives which last a few days or months, and they need to return them for a working one.

I read a post on a forum where a members power supply fan failed because a scorpian/ big hard shelled bug climbed into the fan grill, and made the power supply fan stop spinning.
