I don't get what is so exciting about camping out outside a store to get something I can get a few days, weeks or month later. Some people have too much time on their hand to camp out at a store to buy the newest stuff. Maybe a few people just want to be on TV, or the internet to prove to the world they camped out to get the newest things. If I want something so bad, I just pre-order it.
I only will camp out only to get tickets to my favourite events, singers, and bands that I really want to see in concert if I can't pre-order the tickets online.
Camping out is actually fun. I've camped out for a few different things.
I camped out with 2 of my friends for the 360. I wasn't even buying one, just wanted to hang out with them for the night. We met some of the nicest people and we all had a blast joking around and having fun.
I also kind of camped out for the midnight release of the last few Harry Potter books. I had mine pre-ordered so I was guarenteed to get it, but there is something fun about being around tons of other people all with the same interest as me. We joked, talked about the books, and just had a ton of fun.
