Rare's remake of its N64 classic Perfect Dark has been well-received right out of the gate, earning the number one spot on the Xbox Live Arcade sales charts in its first week of availability. Today Rare announced on its Twitter page that a title update is coming next month that will fix a variety of issues and add a new solo and multiplayer mode.
- The bug with the "Tools of the Trade" achievement that keeps players from being awarded the gamer points will be fixed.
- Legacy and Southpaw controls are being added.
- Players will be able to swap triggers.
- Aim sensitivity sliders are being added.
- Solo and Team "Hardcore" playlists are being added that remove radar and auto-aim.
Rare didn't say exactly when we can expect this title update.
