Well, it's a very nice looking game and it was a great way to start Nintendo's E3 presentation, right? Here are some screenshots/artwork/the trailer for Pikmin 3 on Wii U.

I have to say, this game is a great example of how good games can look in HD. Indeed, it's got to be the most lush looking forest environment I've seen in a long time!

Why didnt they include the white and purple pikmins?

i am curious who those 3 new people are, i only know Olimar but he isn't in the videos and the long faced friend of him. But i never played Pikmin so idk who are new.

One, Miyamoto confirmed that Purple and White Pikmin would return, but they just weren't in any of the trailers or screenshots.
Two, they're Olimar's family.

They're not.
If you look at the close-ups of these new characters, they look nothing like Olimar's family as shown in Pikmin 2. It would seem they are four entirely new characters.

I'm pretty excited about this... Pikmin is one of my favorite games ever. Plus, it's a super fun character to play in Super Smash.
