Platinum Games President Tatsuya Minami has resigned

He apparently left the studio last month and has been replaced by Kenichi Sato.

So yeah, sad to see him leave Platinum Games. He didn't exactly express many thoughts of leaving the studio before, so it makes you wonder why exactly he walked away. Was it anything to do with work on Star Fox Zero or Star Fox Guard? Some personal reason? Something else?

We don't know why he left but I find misguided the conjecture of it being related to the game. I think right now it is all guesses.
It is sad to hear it as the studio has a very good reputation and people working for it. i hope everything goes alright.
As much as I'd like to know the cause, I think the more time it passes the less likely we will get to learn what moved the decision.
