If that's true I'm missing out big time because I rarely buy dlcs. I stray away from them often because I don't like online play and many are geared for that.
Yeah, it is true that there's a lot of exploitation going on. At the same time, I can't say I'm too unhappy living in the age of the crazy good steam deals haha.
I mean I sort of do, but at the same time that's why we got really good at the games we played as kids - I definitely don't replay games constantly like I did when I had maybe 6 titles and would sell back other ones to get more
That burger picture is literally so true it's awful and sad. I think the only game that doesn't follow that is GTA where the DLC is like extra but the full game is still good and fine.
I would say some small companies like the people behind Cities: Skylines are doing a good job with DLC things - especially given that they're published by Paradox!
