I am basically a PC gamer and I play most games on PC even though I also have a console. I play most games on PC including strategy games. One of the common issues I have playing strategy games on PC is bad performance, the experience is not smooth like using a console. However, you get better control on the game because you can use keyboards and mouse.

Age of Empires II is the best strategic game I've ever played, and maybe Red Alert 2 comes after it.

I'm also a PC gamer at heart, and I so much love to play the strategy games with a keyboard and mouse. But the major issue I have is the performance glitch and it can be so frustrating.

Let me tell you what I found out. Tweaking the game settings and updating my drivers has definitely helped me to improve the experience. I also discovered that having a good gaming mouse and keyboard can make a huge difference too.

I still believe that consoles can be a lot smoother and I've played strategy games on my friend's Xbox and trust me, I had an entirely different experience.

I prefer playing Strategy games like Warcraft 3 on a computer because I feel using a keyboard and mouse is more accurate for managing my troops, and main characters.

If you're not playing strategy games on a PC you're not getting the full experience. Mobile just isn't any good for anything other than casual gaming. Sure, there are some strategy games like Boom Beach, but this is not anywhere near the experience of a true RTS or turn-based game.

The good thing about PC gaming is that you can scale down requirements to suit your machine too. I'm fortunate in having a high end PC but it has not always been the case. Turning down graphic settings doesn't detract from the gameplay experience.
