Remember, the whole reason we get a game is for the fun. But the feeling of accomplishment is so good afterwards. While winning is fun, being able to lose makes winning more enjoyable. So I guess that 'Playing to Win' is more of an accomplishment thing, while 'Playing for Fun' is a entertainment thing. But, no matter what, I'm going to try and win at something I'm having fun with. I figure this would be a good way to phrase it: "First, play a fun game. If it is fun, try to win the fun game. If it is no longer fun, stop playing."
guilty as charged.Does playing to win for fun make sense? Also, some of these posts make it seem like they're talking about a particular game, namely DYL and Toon Ike's.
I'm very competitive, and if it comes down to player Vs. player, I always switch to "Hard-mode Dev", so to say.I admittedly am a little more competitive than I really want to be.![]()

That is the fundamental reason we get games.
