Do you try to win at all costs, or do you play solely for fun? Neither is bad, it's that everything in moderation (and don't force your beliefs on others).

Both. Though mostly play to win. I only do it to have fun when I'm bored and I've beat the game.

If I like the game alot I'll play for fun.
But if I think a game dersives a direct meh, I play to win, keep it for a while, get board with it, trade it in at game stop for credit.

While winning is fun, being able to lose makes winning more enjoyable. So I guess that 'Playing to Win' is more of an accomplishment thing, while 'Playing for Fun' is a entertainment thing. But, no matter what, I'm going to try and win at something I'm having fun with. I figure this would be a good way to phrase it: "First, play a fun game. If it is fun, try to win the fun game. If it is no longer fun, stop playing."

Remember, the whole reason we get a game is for the fun. But the feeling of accomplishment is so good afterwards.
That is the fundamental reason we get games.
