PlayStation Home Is Shutting Down

Sony has announced that it is closing down its virtual world social networking service PlayStation Home.

According to the PlayStation forums, PlayStation Home will cease to publish new content from November 12. Players will not be able to download any more content after December 3.

The full shutdown takes place in March 31, 2015. Until then, players who stick with the service will receive free content as a token of Sony's gratitude.

I was hoping they would actually improve upon it in the future, not shut it down...

Yea the first time I tried it I thought it was pretty darn boring as well.

But after coming back to it recently with its all new homes and features and more of my friends being on it to meet up with them I started to find new interest in it.
