I downloaded the driveclub and played it for a few hours then I realized that it isn't the regular driveclub game. They are calling it the PSN version. It basically means that most of the game is locked and you cannot play the tracks. There is a mini PSN button beside most of the cars and tracks in which you have to purchase to play.

I find is really annoying that they would lure people like this. Last week they recommended for all users to download the demo, then this week it's free.......errr actually not. It was just a trick.

So its a pay to play game using a popular video game title?

They've always advertised it as such. The PSN version is a small segment of the actual game, free to users, so that they can test it out and then work out if they want to expand their game time by purchasing the whole thing. Since day one of the announced PSN version this was stated.

I don't read gaming news too much so I missed that. It's still a bit of a tricky thing because it was listed as "full game". Of course they meant full psn game which is actually a demo.............but they offered one called a demo a week ago.
The thing is you pay for the PSN and with that you get free games. In the past they promised driveclub (or the crew) to be given for free but decided against it and gave out cheap, made in a backyard, games. Finally they give it out, and it's a demo which they are calling a full psn game. The game is basically a giant E-store itself.
Why do you have to pay for a psn account if the only reason is to access tricks to lure you to buy.

They should've called it a demo and not threw the real demo in your face last week.
