Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (3DS XL)

Just purchased it yesterday. Liking it. It plays on my nostalgia of the Gameboy versions but I'm enjoying the 3D effect.

1st real 3DS game I purchased.

This was the remake of the original Sapphire game right?

That is my understanding, yes. It certainly feels like the old GBC Pokémon but with much better graphics and the 3d effect, which actually seeing in a game for the first time is really cool. I will admit though, if I play too long my eyes feel screwed up afterwards.

Eh, I rather have the old 2D feel to it than 3D.

I kinda like the 3D. It could be a novelty tho.

p.s. As I'm sure you know, you can turn the 3D off.

I'm talking about the models and not the effect.
