It seems to be an attempt to remake Pokemon Red and Blue in the style of X and Y or Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. It's in early days at the moment, but it's got an interesting team behind it already.

But yeah, thoughts? What's the chance of this one ever getting completed? Without getting shut down?

Interesting idea, but I don't know why they're trying. It's just going to get shut down like everything else.

I played Pokemon Blue, Red, and Yellow. Played Fire Red and Leaf Green as well. I don't really need another graphically enhanced version of the same game I've been playing since I was 10. But I think we've reached a point in Pokemon where remakes are the only choice, since they have made so many through the years that there's really nothing left to do, other than create new Pokemon, which is a chore. The last batch seemed uninspired, and it had the lack of creativity that earlier versions had.
