The new issue of CoroCoro is coming out with a big announcement for Pokemon fans!

While I cannot currently confirm anything, it seems like Pokemon Gray will be coming out as early as this Fall in Japan, with a US release of March. It seems to focus more on Kyurem (as many believed). Also, I have not seen another page, but I have been told that Keldeo should be made available sometime in the near future, either as part of Gray or sooner.

(Top says "Pokemon" and then has Keldeo's shadow. Not much to go on, but more scans are sure to come)

I'll post more info as I learn about it and will try to be clear as to what is rumor/fact. Right now, this is not confirmed as the issue has not yet hit the stands for official sales. What do you think? Will you buy another Pokemon remake? Any wishlists for a revamped Unova?

Sounds good but are you sure the info is true? and the screenshot looks like a normal town. We need someone here who can be a translator for japanese stuff for better varification.

I might buy this, I never got Black/White. But it all depends on the mood I'm in (I feel like getting back into Pokemon, could be enjoyable. Might do that Nuzlocke run on the first go, like Spaceman Spiff's doing with Gen IV).

I have a feeling it could be official, it's almost the right time for it (I think? I dunno, not a huge release date analyst).

PLEASE BE TRUE!!!!!!!
I'll buy it day one, they better not anouce some stupid spin-off!!!!

And please be for 3DS
I'll buy it day one, even tough i have 500+ Hrs on white lol

EDIT: is it just me, or does the trainer look like he has a grey hat on?!?!?!?

Oh mah gawd. Don't name it grey. O_O

But yeah, whenever it does come out, I'll get it.

So, which colours have been used?
Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black and White

Which precious metals or gemstones, etc have been used?
Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond, Pearl and Platinum

What other precious metals or gemstones, or jewellery, generally speaking, are there?
Well, there's the Palladium and Rhodium, of the precious metals.

Then there are precious metal alloys, which are Britannia Silver, Coloured gold, Crown gold, Electrum, Platinum sterling, Shakudō Shibuichi, Sterling silver and Tumbaga.

There's base metals/alloys: Brass, Bronze, Copper, Mokume-gane, Pewter, Stainless steel and Titanium

And then we have the gemstones -- of which there are mineral, and organic. The mineral ones being:
Aventurine, Agate, Alexandrite, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Carnelian, Citrine, Diopside, Garnet, Jade, Jasper, Lapis lazuli, Larimar, Malachite, Marcasite, Moonstone, Obsidian, Onyx, Opal, Peridot, Quartz, Sodalite, Sunstone, Tanzanite, Tiger's eye, Topaz, Tourmaline, Turquoise and Yogo sapphire.

And the organic gemstones: Amber, Copal, Coral, Jet, Abalone and Ivory.

Now out of these, which one sounds good for a Pokemon game?

Hm... Pokemon Quartz? Pokemon Bronze? Pokemon Onyx (in which there's only Onyx? AHAHAHA)?

I think Ruby/Sapphire remakes would be better.
It's about time to make a revamped version of B/W, but for the R/S remakes I think we still need to wait a year or two.

Wishlists? Hmm...I think we they should add some more battle stages, because in B/W all the indoor or gym battles have the same atmosphere (brown+white), despite some areas, for example, Nimbasa gym has a more darker theme.

How did I see this coming? :|
I'm pretty sure Game Freak told us that they weren't going to make one.

HOW DARE THEY BREAK TRADITION! *smacks random glass of water off table*

Fingers crossed though, because I wouldn't mind one.
I think Ruby/Sapphire remakes would be better.

They probably will after this is released. Their signature is kinda...obvious.

This is Lengthy, soooo...yea, read if ya wish.
They release two games of 1 gen. (R&S) then they release another game of that gen, which is upgraded from the past version (Emerlad) but in-between that, gamefreak got sidetracked and remade the first gen (FR&LG(see how it's two games of the same gen?)) then they release a new gen, with 2 games (P&D) with a newer version of the same gen right behind again (Platinum). Then there was another remake (SS&HG) with,yet again, a new gen right behind. So chances area retry good that there's gonna be a grey then a remake. And all te newer versions of the gen feature a legendary that has no connection to the storyline.

That was a mis-translation from an interview. The bottom one I know is official, but the top one looks like it too. They even have a logo.

Hm... according to the top screenshot, it will be released this year for the DS. I might end up getting it whenever the US release date is. I didn't get Black or White because it came out while I was saving up for the 3DS.

Well, according to Nintendo World Report, there's data in the gen V games that seems to indicate a second form for Kyurem.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/29219

As I said earlier:

So it turns out the game coding has room for an alternate Kyurem form? Apparently so, the form count was set as 1 for 1 alternate form (like how it was for Girantina, Shaymin, etc), not 0 like it is for Pokemon without any alternate forms. This seems to indicate there's going to be a new form for the Pokemon, possibly revealed in the inevitable third game in gen V.

No offence, but, try and be a little less ridiculous.

Let's see now:

Pokemon Red and Green (i.e. Blue outside Japan) was released in 1996 in Japan, 1998 in the US and Australia, and 1999 in Europe.
Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen was released in 2004, 8 years after the original Japanese game, 6 years after the US and Australia, and 5 years after Europe.

Pokemon Gold and Silver was released in 1999 in Japan, 2000 and US and Australia and 2001 in Europe.
Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver was released in 2009 in Japan, and 2010 in US, Australia and Europe, which was 10 years for Japan, US and Australia, and 9 years for Europe.

Red and Green are the original Generation I games.
Gold and Silver are the original Generation II games.
Therefore, the next remakes will be the original Generation III games, which are Ruby and Sapphire, which if they ARE remade, will probably not be released until 2014-2015.

THEN in another 3 years after that, as in about 2017-18 or so, we might get the remakes of Diamond in Pearl.

And THEN, we MIGHT see the Black and White remakes sometime during the early 2020s, maybe 2021 or 2022, if we're lucky.

It seems like you are completely ignoring Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum. EVERY generation has a third game released shortly after the first two. It still counts as a remake (imo), as they add a few things to the game and maybe unlock an extra handful of Pokemon. Hell, I would be happy with them updating the graphics for a 3DS version. Even if it isn't in 3D, having it for the 3DS would attract more people to buy one and would fix the graphics stretching that I get when playing a DS game on the 3DS.

*ahem*

Red = FireRed
Green/Blue = LeafGreen
Yellow = ???
Gold = HeartGold
Silver = SoulSilver
Crystal = ???

Oh I'm not the one that's "ignoring" Yellow, etc.

Easy SpoonySage and TUK. I believe that what we are all trying to understand is that Gamefreak have a nack for releasing a new gen, then adding a third with a small or major alteration to the story and then remakes an original with more up to date grafics and what ever else they wished they could of improved when the games were first released.

Precisely, only the two original games are ever re-made.

In chronological order, the list basically goes like this:

Gen I originals (Red and Green/Blue) in 1996
Gen I update (Yellow) in 1998
Gen II originasl (Gold and Silver) in 1999
Gen II update (Crystal) in 2000
Gen III originals (Ruby and Sapphire) in 2002
Gen I remakes (FireRed and LeafGreen) in 2004
Gen III update (Emerald) in 2004
Gen IV originals (Diamond and Pearl) in 2006
Gen IV update (Platinum) in 2008
Gen II remakes (HeartGold and GoldSilver) in 2009
Gen V originals (Black and White) in 2010

Generally, the Gen I remakes were released within the 3rd generation. And Gen II in the 4th generation. Therefore Gen III remakes should be released during the current Gen V, as well as Gen IV remakes in the possible Gen VI, and generally, the generation will be remade during the generation generally two generations ahead of the generation generally being made in general.

We should find, general generations, generally genericly generic.

Wow try saying THAT 3 times fast.
So what we all want to know is will "grey" be released before R/S/E remakes or the other way around.
