There is a lot of ways to approach this, I mainly just want to say, blame the fans.

They allowed game freak to add more and more and even more pokemon to the series leading to this issue. Yes, game freak should have brought on more staff to handle the overload of needed work, but at the same time I'm not sure if it be right to break their core staff to temp hire a bunch of people only to fire them in the end.

Anyways, this is just a current temp problem, in due time they will bring all pokemon to console level playing.
