Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition is headed to Western store shelves as Pokemon Conquest this June.
Previously described as "the craziest Pokemon game you've ever seen," Pokemon Conquest is set in feudal Japan. The game is a crossover with Tecmo Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition strategy series and follows the story of a young Warlord recruiting allies to strengthen his kingdom.
Pokemon Conquest is being developed by Tecmo Koei and will include nearly 200 pokemon, largely from 2011's Pokemon Black and White roster. The game features turn-based six-on-six battles in which players must "choose the correct Pokemon type to inflict maximum damage on their opponents."
Pokemon Conquest will hit Nintendo DS in the United States on June 18th. A European release date has not yet been announced.
