The President of the US, Barack Obama, has just wrapped up a two-day trip to Poland where he met with Polish Prime Minister Bronisław Komorowski to discuss -- well, this is a gaming site so I'm sure you honestly couldn't care less are not too concerned about any of that right now.

To mark the end of all the important political talks, Komorowski decided to give Obama a few gifts because, quite frankly, that's how we Polish people roll. Included in the box of gifts was a popular Polish book translated into English, an iPad which had a few extremely well-known Polish films --including "City of Ruins"-- as well as a collection of dazzling images promoting Poland.

But that's not all. This box also included a copy of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings... the Collectors Edition at that! So now when Obama feels like kickin' it back after a hard day's work of doing what presidents of countries do, he can boot up The Witcher 2 and... play it, I suppose. Or not. But he better, because of REASONS!

the video game's title alone could fuel obama to pro anti video game violence.

Obama isn't very good in my opinion... Anyway, on topic, it would be stupid for Obama to be pissed. It's a good game!

I applied to work with CDProject as an English story writer. I didn't get hired. I really like the Witcher universe, and I think its a great tribute to Polish culture that the game was so popular as to get a sequel. The book was supposed to make it over here, but last time I checked it wasn't at my local bookstore. I never finished the first one. I got stuck at the part where you take on the giant bug in the cave. I liked the idea of being a bounty hunter, helping out villagers even though they hate you. They could easily make an MMO version of this game.
