FEZ, an indie title, which by the way is a so freaking glitched out game that just is about as unplayable as a cardboard box-- *Gaaasp* --... Just took it's final stand with a patch, recently it didn't go as planned, and people lost their save files. Corrupted, et cetera.
Now the initial plan was to fix it again with another idea, but it was going to cost waaaay too much money to actually bring the game back to it's original creation without the bugs and the glitches and doo skippidy bop.
Polytron, the dev's, just didn't have a chance at making it as high as they wanted it to be. Now the game doesn't seem as screwed up as they say it is... But perhaps methinks only say that since Wuffy haven't played the game.
Not everyone was affected, but Polytron did apologize with these words:
''To the less-than-1% who are getting screwed, we sincerely apologize. We know this hurts you the most, because you’re the ones who put the most times into the game. And this breaks our hearts. We hope you dont think back on your time spent in FEZ as a total waste.''
Dev's have the hard life, with coding and all. Even Notch said he had no idea how to code in his early work. I don't know many games that are buggy, but it's pretty smelly when a reeeeeally top-rated game turns out to be a bit... Broken. :c
