I'm not sure that really shaved but a second off his time... assuming both times were identical to begin with... Probably not worth the risk (you're pretty vulnerable when you land).

Ok skymin, please just calm down. I know this is pretty mild for you, but still. To be fair, this shortcut is a legitimate shortcut, not a glitch. All you have to do is use your glider to fly over the gap. And to be even more honest, this shortcut is too impractical to make a difference online. Unless you practice this kind of shortcut 24/7 in time trial mode, chances are you will die and lose so much time from the attempt.

Considering the game was rushed, it could be a lot worse. A lot worse. Just be thankful that the only game breaking glitch is contained in maka wuhu. And if you think about it, the shortcuts like this one could very well have been put in on purpose to reward racers who are willing to use their brains to decrease their times.

They had this kinds of things in Mario Kart Wii as well. Just look at GBA Bowser Castle 3's neat, one-off shortcut that you can do:

Maybe the game isn't broken, maybe WE'RE just really clever. Because the glitch above probably wasn't put in on purpose either.
If you can't handle the quality of the game, then why don't you just stop playing it and save yourself all the hassle of all this rage? Personally, I think it's a great game. No one is telling you to abuse the glitches. And heck, it could be a lot worse. Don't say they didn't test it. They've had months of testing before hand. Who knows what other glitches they have cut out?

In my opinion, you're just as bad as the people who use the glitch. In case you didn't realise, we kind of understood that you didn't like it when you posted about it the first, gee I dunno, ONE HUNDRED TIMES. No need to keep going now.
Yes, it's annoying. Yes, you could say it's a game ruiner. But saying either of these ain't gonna fix it. Send an e-mail to Nintendo if you're that annoyed.
With regards to the Wario's Galleon glitch, I was expecting a few more things like this with the use of the Glider. I mean, we're flying in the air, there are less constraints now. This one's kinda neat, I'll have to try it out sometime, along with that non-glider one on Rosalina's Ice World.

I've tried the one on Rosalina's ice world... Takes some great timing to pull off. Haven't been able to do it yet. But I was messing around in cheep cheep lagoon the other day in the cavern segment with the glider.... It might just be possible to clip through the ceiling. Just need shrooms and an excellent glider.

To the Shortcut, I really don't see much of a use for it other than time trials really, you're a sitting duck while still and it's only a 2 second lead. Can easily be taken back.

Boy does that look RISKY. No thanks, I'll definitely pass on that one. That's more risky then other little 'Glider short-cuts' (Using the Glider to cut one or two corners) I take.
