Practically speaking, what would make the Zelda series sell more?

As in sell at Mario or Call of Duty levels?

Would it be something more like the NES original games? More like Skyrim or generic fantasy RPGs? More like Ocarina of Time?

What do you think would cause the Legend of Zelda series to become a breakout sales success again?

Online battling! It'd be like you VS Dark Link, except it's someone else. Of course there'd have to be item/magic meter limits and stuff like that, but I see this as great potential!

Also, if the game was like Wind Waker, it would be ggod. That game was huge in terms of the world you play in.

Yeah, but half of the world in Wind Waker was empty space. I'd say another game like Majora's Mask... in HD. Just the thought of it has me grinning in anticipation. Imagine the Moon leering at you... IN HD!! Terrifying stuff.
But seriously, games like that are appreciated more NOW than then.
