Because whether you like it or not, it's unlikely Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Pokken Tournament DX and ARMS will be the only ones here.

So what new games will Nintendo announce at the event this year? Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo Switch? Some sort of new Metroid Prime title from Retro Studios? Something else?

What are you expecting to see?

I don't have predictions as much as wants, but I'll still go through the list.

Smash for the Switch because it'll be a gold mine and they know it.
Animal Crossing for the Switch that isn't Amiibo Festival... also maybe less amiibo stuff. I've been playing New Leaf again recently and this amiibo update really sucks. It's basically like, "yeah you can enjoy our game, but we're going to stuff the fact that you don't have AC amiibo in your face."
A Zelda game for the 3DS to tide us over until the DLC release of BotW
Another new IP... though I don't know how I fell about it. The last two, Splatoon and ARMs, I don't really care for. So a new IP may just be meh to me.

That's really all I can think of for now. If I think of anything later I'll post it though.

I'm sure there will be some games introduced for the Nintendo Switch. I feel sure that we'll see something for Super Mario Odyssey. I would like to see some other games announced for the Nintendo Switch besides games that we already know about, like Super Mario Odyssey. Something like a Luigi's Mansion (I loved that game on the GameCube and the 3DS).

If they do make Luigi's Mansion 3, I hope it's more in the style of the original. I wasn't a fan of the mission system because it constantly broke up gameplay. Not to say it was bad, but if I'm going to be hunting ghosts, I'd rather just go right through without having to go back to lab every mission.

While I like both games, I can see you point. I love being able to play continuously and I think I would really like to see something like that for the next Luigi's Mansion (if they do make another one).
