Preferred Pokemon Game + Console

What is your favorite Pokemon game and why? I'd also love to know what handheld Nintendo console you prefer to play this on. I have been a huge fan of Pokemon and still am to this day, so I'd love to know who else enjoys or did enjoy the older versions of the games.

My favorite was Gold/Silver which I played on the Gameboy color. It didn't have the traditional Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur, but I found the storyline much more fun. However, when Ruby and Sapphire came out on the GBA, I started playing them quite regularly and they are the only ones I play still to this day.

My favorite is platinum, Or soul silver. I used to play these games alot when i was just 8-9 years old. I played these games on my Dsi.

Ahhh, Good memories. Whenever i found a legendary i went completely crazy especially when it came to giratina. It's hard to compare Platinum and soul silver because both of the games are really good and have many legendaries. Plus the story's were pretty freaking awesome too.

My favorite is the original Red for the GameBoy. It was simple and fun.

Though my favorite when it comes to story is probably Black/White and Black 2/White 2.
