Project Cafe (Wii 2) Confirmed

Is this the Wii 2? Nintendo has released an official statement confirming a new console, codenamed "Project Cafe", will be playable at E3 2011. No details on the new Nintendo console have been announced except for the fact that it will arrive in 2012. The company promises to announce the console's specs and more during the annual industry trade show later in June.

Here's the statement from Nintendo:

"Nintendo has decided to launch in 2012 a system to succeed Wii, which the company has sold 86.01 million units on a consolidated shipment basis between its launch in 2006 and the end of March 2011.

We will show a playable model of the new system and announce more specifications at the E3 Expo, which will be held June 7-9, 2011, in Los Angeles.”

if memory servers right, they announced a few epic titles as well. can't see how they were boring.

that remains to be seen, right now though it's motion control can be questioned.
