The PS Plus free games lineup for May 2021 is: Wreckfest (PS5), Deep Stranded, and Battlefield V. A pretty strong lineup especially compared to the Xbox Games with Gold one.
 
I might pick up Battlefield V for the hell of it, but may never play it.

As is the case with most of these PS Plus titles to be fair lol. Battlefield V is decent, to be fair, but I won't be playing it either. I prefer the modern settings for Battlefield

Games based on the current times rather than historical settings. I wasn't a fan of Battlefield 1 with the WW1 setting and didn't get Battlefield 5 because of the WW2 setting
 
It's funny because BFV received quite a bit of backlash from some parts of the gaming community because they didn't think it was a proper portrayal of WW2. I think it was a woman with coloured hair that bugged them lol
 
Battlefield series got bad Fighter Jet/Fighter plane gameplay lol while I do get the arcade-y thing they are aiming on the said gameplay but at the very least they should do better flight physics with it.

I honestly can't remember how it was with the more modern fighter jets but it was extremely annoying to fly a plane in Battlefield 1

Well, bad flight physics aside, flying a fighter plane is not easy and it can be annoying. For example, with the early version of the spitfire , the engine will die when you go into a steep climb because you overheated. Before going into combat and while climbing, you need to open the radiator flaps. also the engine will force your fighter to roll left so you have to counter it with your rudder trim. Another example if you pull a really really hard turn/ doing a sudden hard g turn/maneuver while flying fast you can tear your wings out, so you really need to watch your speed before doing combat maneuvers among other things.

I got both as the community i'm in play battlefield 1 and most have downloaded v.
stranded deep i've been eyeing up on the pc, absolutely love it, and it's great to stream, well actually i stream them both :p
 
Nice. I might have to hop on to one of your Stranded Deep streams next time because the game looks quite interesting but I can't be bothered to see if I like it by actually downloading it and trying it out.

I have Stranded Deep on PS4, I loved it, still play it now and again when I have the time :D
 
You get bored of it pretty quickly especially with the awful wait times for online matches. It's not extremely long but you get bored waiting.
