This time around, the team over at PlayStation asked Nike if they could do a small run to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of PlayStation 2’s launch in Japan. As you can see, they didn’t just simply rerun the shoes, but updated them slightly. The 10th Anniversary shoe features a full patent leather upper - yep they got that gradient on patent! - which was something previously thought to be too difficult to execute. It also has a standard AF1 liner and they are not numbered. Less than 50 pairs were created this time around and will be given to media, Sony execs and other VIPs.
