My PS2 broke on me. I'm mad as hell. I don't know how to fix it. Can someone help? I've tried cleaning the lens. No help. I had it for 3 years now (the 70001 model) and I really want it back. Any suggestions?

oh the pain! OH THE PAIN! well better you then me

anyways if you want help your going to have to give more info. did anything happen when you last played it? did anything happen since then? (take disk out, moved it around, ect) what happened when you turned it on and found it broke. ect.

Dont take it apart and try to fix it unless u know what you are doing. My mom tried doing that when mine stopped working, and well...she made it worse then it was already. If you look on google you can probably find a guide to fix it, or contact sony and see what they say

1. lol at Itachi.

2. Sony is asking for over $100, which I can get a new one FOR $100.

3. I played KH1. Then decided to play KH2. Put it in tried to play. But it brought me to the browser menu.

I tried ALL my PS2, PS1, and DVD's. None worked.

Have you tried cleaning the front air vents. They can be clogged with dusts and overheat your PS2.

Check to see if everything is pluged in correctly to the PS2.

Check to see if the video cable is pluged in to the TV and the PS2 Video port.

Try a new video cable for the PS2.

Take out your memory card and Controller. (Just in case the memory card or controller is causing the problem)

Maybe your power adapter for your PS2 gone bad.

Try replacing the power adapter.

Check to see if there is power by making sure the light at the front of the PS2 is on.

How do you fix the vents? Cause everything else you listed is fine.

air vents are located on the outside of your PS2 on either the front or back or both. to clean them you just need a can of compressed air and just blow the dust out of the vent.
