The new ceramic white PS2 should be on shelves in the U.S. early in November, and is positioned to compete with the Wii.
Not only is the color similar, the game is packaged with Singstar and a couple microphones, clearly as a bid for families to play together in Wii-like joy.
Plus, it only costs $150, which is a family-friendly price
I think the Wii still sell more since a lot of people I know have PS2. Plus, singing games aren't really that popular. But, the ceramic ps2 looks nice.
The PS2's obsolete to compete with the next gen console, so why are they really doing this? Money, family oriented, or the PS2 to last until 2010? I can careless. They seen their better days releasing games for hardcore gamers, and since they're going to focus on family oriented related games, it isn't gonna duplicate any success.
